Either way I'm guessing you know a thing or two about F/I based on previous posts. But this guy may not be able to afford best of the best. And roots style , pos. displacement, rotor, etc. are still "hooked to the engine" too, are they not? So engine speed still plays a part in making power at a given RPM.

I had one on a 5.0 Cobra couple years ago, was ok and was quiet, but if I were you save your money and buy a turbo kit. I got power hungry and I'm sure that you will too. The powerdyne SILENTDRIVE is good for a daily here to there but if you want big numbers go turbo. Oh and the bearings started to go after only about 15000 miles
