my vette made over 800 at the wheels with stock wires, coils and tr6 plugs.

If it were my truck I'd stick with stock wires and go with the TR6's...

the reason the taylors are popular is they're cheaper than oem delco to replace with and available in colors. Having gone thru a few sets, I don't find them as durable if you wind up doing frequent work on the car, I had to reclaim quite a few of them (clip would pull off the wire and stay on plug)

They are a fully sleeved wire not a "thicker" wire, its different when you count on them to when races. Fiberglass shields are worthless on a turbo vehicle too, or anything with un-coated/wrapped headers.

This is coming from actual circle track/road race/drag race experience is all.

I agree if you have no heat issues then the stock wires are more then enough for any 1000hp vehicle.

They weren't useless on my turbo setup...never had any problems. It's the same stuff that they use to wrap headers or turbo manifolds, why does it matter if it's on the pipe or on the wire? The effect is the same.

I have taylor wires on one side, and msd on the other. Both work good lol

oh yea? I'm running 2 taylor wires, 2 msd, 2 magnecore and 2 stock
