What symptoms were you having that led you to perform a smoke test. I'm suspecting something might be wrong with mine.

I ran 20-22 pounds thru a LS6 manifold on my vette, Kinda odd you guys are splitting OEM manifolds....FASTS I've heard of, but OEM's rarely if ever.

No symptoms really. I was going to get it tuned and they perform smoke test on boosted vehicles before they tune them.

So guys, I ended up just ordering a brand new stock intake with the better Fel-pro gaskets and guess what!?!? I got it smoked tested right after installing it and this brand new intake leaks just as bad but in a different spot !! Err. Im so done with these plastic intakes. I highly suggest getting your boosted set-ups SMOKE tested. Its either the Edelbrock pro flow or High Hi ram for me. End of story.

I would like to see a pic or vid of all these leaks. Can't imagine they are much at all...

Well I didn't take any pictures or videos but this brand new intake was leaking right at the top seam of the driver side front corner. The old intake was leaking at the bottom seem on the passenger side rear corner. You could clearly see the smoke rolling out from the seam. I could only imagine it gets worst with boost. Trust me, I would love to save some money and keep the stock intake but I want it done right with zero leaks.

You're throwing money at something that isn't an issue IMO. All of our stock intakes have slight porosity at the joints probably, but I highly doubt it's anything significant or will affect performance, especially tuned SD if you are.

You can also buy an epoxy or something similar with a low viscosity and let it run into the crack. That would seal it up for you and be virtually invisible if done correctly. Just a thought to make the stock intake work.

Ya, I don't know what I'm going to do. Every person I ask has a different opinion. One shop says Holley, one says FAST and they others say WTF lol. I just wanna romp on my **** already.......

If my opinion means anything, I'd run a stock manifold. MANY, MANY high hp builds use them and the price is right. Pin hole air leaks are going to make NO difference in performance.
