Default Placement of exhaust cutout

Guys I help with the placement of the exhaust cutout on my turbo truck. Where do you guys think is the best place to install it. Im thinking close to the turbo the better. But the DP by the turbo is tight but I will make it work. But also after the crossmember would be a breeze. So you guys think??? Pics would be Awesome!!!

This is basically where mine is, right after the wastegate merges back into the downpipe, and before the cat.

What exactly is going on there? Looks like a wastegate actuator Boost actuated cutout?

Mark after your gate into dp connection.
Where your dp ended is a good location.

It is a Sound Performance boost activated cutout. Under 5 PSI of boost it is closed, and gradually opens up until fully opened at 11 PSI. You can buy or make an inline solenoid to deactivate it if you would like. The only thing you cant do is have it opened when it is at low boost. I love the way it works other than leaking a little, but I will correct that over this winter. Here is the thread when I installed it.

It isnt custom, I just dont think they advertise it. They actually tried to talk me out of it due to size, but they mainly deal with cars like Supras. There is still exhaust exiting the system, so I bet it isnt much of a HP gain over a 3".
