yes, 3 bar map is for more then 14.7 psi. TTa map sensors are the only ones you can buy in a store that are 3 bar. Delphi has pn for 3bar map and is suposta be making them soon. My guess is gm is coming out with something over 15psi of boost. Something is going on there.

Thanks for understanding.

AFAIK there is no plug-n-play 3 bar map for our trucks (at least not one that I could find). There is the "old style" map that was used on the GNs (and I think its the same from the turbo tas, just not sure). You'll just have to wire it into the factory harness.

If you have an electronic boost guage, like I do, that uses a map sensor and registers 30psi you have a 3 bar map already . Mine is an autometer cobalt.

yours was mailed at today incase your wondering.

Gosh, didn't mean to put the poor guy out of business, lol just though I found a good place to get some 2 bar sensors.

BTW you have a order for a custom LS1 kit Looks like nice stuff

Yep -- it's the "old style" kind like for the GN (little gray brick with a vac fitting sticking up).

Rocket-- that's good to know!! Hopefully they will get it out there soon
