yeppers, its a tapered thread, 1/8NPT is what it should have been. The deeper you thread it the tighter the threads get, that is why tape or paste will work with that type of threads.
Hows the truck running, did you get to the track?

Alright....Finally! I found what i need....just need to see if any auto parts store in MD has one. Dorman part #65275. Looks like an oil drain plug and copper washer (M18) for a 93-97 Ford Escort. Wish me luck. EXAMPLE

You never answered if that is a check valve on the outlet.

if it is, you don't need it because your stock in-tank has one. Eliminate it and use the spare washer on the inlet side, if possible.

Sorry Mike....not a check valve. The outlet is an M12 and the inlet is an M18....so that washer would not work.

Sorry man, just too damn cold to lay on the garage floor right now. I got heat in there...but the days are not getting above 25* and it takes forever to get the bottom 16" of the garage warm. As soon as the weather breaks a little I will get it on there.....promise

You definitely need the copper washers(no rubber o-rings).

Make sure you got a fuel pressure gauge on there under boost.I've seen a few inlines suck the stock pump dry and pressure drops big time.

Sucks on the flat bottom truck tanks but it might be better to drill the back corner and run that pump parallel and boost sensative.

You could always run 2
