Default People with Whipple's GET IN HERE!

Hi all, for anyone who has a whipple where are the 2 auxilary injectors located on this kit? Pics help if possible. I'm swapping the auxilary injectors out permanently and only running eight 43# injectors. Has anyone done this mod yet? Do I fit anything in place of where these injectors used to be? Will it run fine without them and not destroy the whipple?

This is all part of my master plan of installing a new PCM (from Bryan,) a walbro 340 fuel pump, a zippy shift kit and Trailblazer torque converter.

Any suggestions/tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks.

The 2 auxilary injectors are located where the old throttle body was. You took and moved the throttle body to the whipple and then installed the injectors with the injector body in its orginal spot. I have not done this mod but maybe this will help.

The reason behind it is that (at least everyone's told me) if you scrap the auxilary injectors and just upgrade to much bigger injectors for all eight cylinder's it will drastically help your bottom line. Most people seem to think that Whipple's aux injector system is garbage and the gains can really be seen by just increasing your regular injectors with a good tune. Whipple calls it something like chemical intercooling or something like that- I can't remember the term. And BTW, it (bigger injectors) is absolutely needed with an aftermarket tune. Thanks for all the help guys. Anyone else with some more advice? It's always appreciated!

So the whipple unit can not be tuned by itself as if it was a stanalone?

All I know is they give you a piggyback setup. If you get an aftermarket tune, you just yank the piggyback and install the new PCM. The new injectors are needed for the new PCM though. I spose it would be possible to run the whip w/ the aux injectors and the other new injectors but most people have said just to yank the aux's.

BTW, does anybody know where the piggyback is located?

Thanks for the help guys!
