Default P1 procharger on a 6.2? Suggestions

Found a few deals on procharger p1sc. Looking to install on a 6.2 silverado.

At 10lbs with a pat g spec cam any idea what power it should make ?

Any reason not to do this setup. It's several grand less than buying a new whipple

My first boosted vehicle had a procharger. It will not make any more power than stock under about 3500 rpms. They are good in certain applications, like when your traction limited off the bottom end, and they scream up top. For a truck I think they are the least promising of the three types of forced induction. I say spend the money on a whipple, or put on an inexpensive Trick Turbo and grow when funds are available. You get what you pay for to some degree.

It works great. stays out of boost under normal driving, and spools up by 2000 rpm. I towed about 8000lbs 500 miles this past weekend, and it did great. Look at the Trick turbo vs Z06 thread, thats my truck.

Some of the procharger guys can help you better but I think you would be allot better off with a D-1 then a P-1 on a 6.2 if you are looking for 10psi.
