I would not worry about it.....If you play you gotta pay IMO.....

If you are worried about warranty, then I would just leave it alone.

Anyway there is a solution. My truck doesn't have onstar but my car did when I bought it. I didn't want it, so I just never activated the account. After about 6 months I got all these notices asking [demanding!] that I activate/renew the account. I ignored them. Finally they called me on the phone. I told them I never wanted the d**n thing and had no plans to ever turn it on. They were mad, but eventually left me alone. Now I'm considering shaving the antenna system.

I feel pretty embarrased right now but when I think about it... Animal Farm, Pig Farm.... same thing, just a little Fruedian slip. It's still about The Man slowly but very surely taking charge of every detail of individual life. They just can't get enough power or money.... always need more. They will always need more because money and power can't fill the hole inside that they are trying to fill.

Damn the man! Down with the sytsem and rage against the machine.

They can't watch all of us all the time. Otherwise some of us would have to be doing that for a living. If you give them a reason to watch, then they will. I'm sure if you're avg. speed for the month was 100mph, then yeah they question it. Like Blown said pull the fuse.....or don't get on star. Problem solved.

I didn't have enough money to get OnStar......I guess I'm lucky that I'm poor.
I don't even know what the hell I would need it for anyway. I like good old fashioned paper maps and doing a search on map quest for my info.
Man I must be old!!!!
