Default Turbo 5.3, 1971 C10

Hello,
This is my first post here, I've been reading and getting info for a while but now the truck is running here's some info. I'll stick mostly to the engine here but the short version this has been a father and son project, truck was a big block LWB auto and it's now a single turbo 5.3 SWB manual.
Gen 3 5.3 block and crank
Lunati VooDoo rods
LJMS Wiseco pistons
243 heads
BTR 660 springs, Ti retainers
LS7 lifters
BTR 11/32' push rods
TBSS intake
Truck TB
LS7 MAF
Stock48 speced cam 218/222 .595" 112LSA
KB Turbo kit
BW 369SXE .91AR

Truck has a Tremec Magnum 6spd and 4.10 gears, it has been together for a couple years with a stock 5.3. My son does some Autocross in the truck as well as local car shows, cruises, and we have long hauled the last two Hot Rod Power Tours and will be again this summer.

After talking with Kyle we went with the 369 turbo as we were not looking big HP#s but something fun to drive on the street and spool quick for autox.

We are using a AEM TruBoost with setting A at 10% duty cycle and setting B about 80% this is giving us 5lbs on A and 9-10lbs on B all tuned on 91 pump gas.
Results are
A: 400hp 5900rpm 417tq 4300rpm
B; 450hp 5900rpm 495tq at 4300rpm

When adjusting the boost controller we had one pull that got to 12lbs when the safety (11lbs) cut in, this pull was 483hp and 534tq and the safety cut off boost at 4800rpm.

Once home from the power tour we are going to put in a E85 sensor and do another tune.

Would love to get an idea of how it spools with the manual trans and some overall driving impressions.

Andrew

It spools quick and just driving around you can get the tail out in 1st and 2nd anytime you want. My son autocrossed it yesterday and struggled keeping the back end in line.

It runs out of steam a little sooner than we were hoping for so we may swap the .91 housing for a 1.00 or even a 1.10 that AGP lists I just don't know enough to know how much either of those housing would change things.
