Default OK got every number off the whipple! Which is it?

OK the guy with the whipple charger called. Its flat black, kinda krinkled he described.

Next to where the throttle body mounts it says "Whipple 53100"

On the back it says 99-323-S

On the base it says 99323L

Also on the bottom 721 and 99323M

All the parts:

The unit itself, a mounting plate, tensioner, a spacer, bag of bolts, wastegate with an electronic solenoid, piggyback control box and the box has 1400 engraved on it.

Can anyone now shed some light on whats this fits and it it includes everything I need?

Is it the 2-belt system or single belt system? If it is the 2 belt system the bottom pulley will not marry up to your existing crank pulley...trust me, been down that road. You will have to get an old crank pulley off of a 2002 or older block or send the whipple bottom pulley off to whipple to have them machine it to fit the new syle chevy crank pulley. Also, if it does not have the elbow that turns the throttle body to face forward, you will have issues with spacing between the TB and the firewall. If there is no elbow that turns the throttle body forward then you still can use the kit you will just have to cut away on your firewall a little bit to make room for the electonics on the right side of the TB.

Just want to give you a heads up on possible issues that you might run into...the two fixes are a little bit of hassle, but the rewards from the boost are worth it.

Hope this helps.

OK the guy said all those numbers dont help him. He said if it does a 180 back towards the front of the truck, its for a 03-06. If it only does a 90, its for a 99-02. Also he said $2000 to make it work if it is for a 99-02? Thought I just needed to massage the firewall some, get injectors and a tune?

Who said 2k? Whipple? You will need injectors, tune, fuel pump. Maybe a elbow depending on year. That doesnt equal no 2k.

LOL. Thats what I figured, they would probably try to sell my their piggy back for an 03-06. I'll called the guy and he said he thinks it does a 180 towards the front of the truck. Crossing fingers!
