Yeah I didn't think so. The -3 line is pretty small and so is the orifice the line connects to.

I've been running a Precision turbo for almost three years now with no problems. Supply line is a -4, then welded(closed) the fitting that screws into the turbo and drilled a 1/16 hole. This is my only experiance with turbos, but a friend with lots of experiance does this and highly recomends this.

I dont know if this has anything to do wioth the intake oil but I hope it helps.
Can anone comment on this? I have worked with STS and have tried everything. Parking angles, new check valves, air filters, high speed return pump etc. still gets a lot of oil in the intake.

I never had an oil problem until I mounted my Holset. I was using a Function 7 restrictor fitting on my previous 2 units on the truck, but it wouldnt fit the Holset. I noticed I was getting oil in my lines when I mounted my new intercooler. I was running no restrictor, but according to the specs on the unit, it could handle high pressure oil( it is a diesel turbo). So I ordered a restrictor anyway, and while I was installing it, I noticed that my drain line was zip tied up higher than the outlet of the drain. So it came out of the turbo, went up hill, then downhill to the pump- where I had it level with the previous turbos. I cut the ties, and redid it to where the line was level, and I haven't had any more trouble. Also, I do not have any check valves, but where my turbo is mounted it is actually higher than the oil level of the engine. And my STS return pump runs wide open all of the time because I dont have the variable speed controller you should have.

So my oil system consists of -4 line back to the turbo, with a restrictor about 10" before the turbo. The oulet of the turbo runs straight to my pump- the nipple of the pump is below the level of the turbo drain.

You might try running power straight to the pump to see if it is an oil return problem- I know that even with my restrictor there is a good bit of oil flowing even at idle.
