was wondering if anyone on here have used the APS twin turbo kit offered over on the LS1tech page for their truck build up... I was wondering if those cast manifolds would be the way to go rather than the log style like on the trick setup... I was also wonderin if its possible to flip those cast manifolds so the turbos sit on top like the trick setup... help me out

If you were to flip the APS manifolds the turbos would sit too high. The cast manifolds are nice for very long term crack resistance, but a coated set of log manifolds will do pretty well too. I like the Trick kit, I have heard only good things about it.

It would be a crap shoot... to see if any of APS GenIII/IV car based kits manifolds would fit... not sending the turbo into one or both frame rails. I eyed a couple of low slung kits a few years ago and it seemed the passenger frame rail seemed to "get in the way". I chatted with Peter at APS awhile back and he was very interested in getting an American speced truck (amongst other models like H2 and Esky) shipped down under. I was seriously considering it but wound up not pursuing it. You're best bet might be to PM Peter and see if he has any updates...

i recently wrote to Pete from APS and this is what he said
Hi George, Many thanks for your pm. APS will look into the twin turbo system truck market in 08, right now we have our hands full with passenger car projects.
Thanks for your interest in APS products and I hope we can assist you in 08.

what im saying is theres a market if your hot side will work on a truck..
thank you for your time

IMO there are lots of options on this continent at the moment. Rick@Synergy is doing/has done a twin setup (not sure if it's a 'kit' yet for the trucks). Rick@Trick was talking about the possibility of developing a twin kit for the trucks. Lots of custom shops around as well (like Wheel2Wheel and others in New England that sponsor LS1Tech but not here
)
What I want to know is this: Is it a requirement that you change your name to Rick if you start a turbo company? Rick@STS, Rick@Synergy, Rick@Trick... This is getting a bit weird lol
