Default Oil drain line leaking

My oil drain line from my Vortech is leaking at the oil pan. It's been fine for almost a year and just started to leak. Is there a good thread sealer that won't be effected by the oil?
Thanks,
Mike

try some loctite, that stuff seals nitrous fittings.

I don't know how loctite would react with oil. Maybe I'll try it out. I want to fix this today.
Thanks for the reply

Cool

Only if you want to permanently adhere it in place. Maybe use some RTV silicone made for sealing gaskets. Your auto parts store should have some sealant that is resistant to oil.

The green loctite is good for sealing up to I think a .015 gap. Its a sleave retainer so I think it would resist oil. You can still break it loose just don't over tighten it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I went with the JB Weld. Eventhough It's permanent, I figured there's no reason for me to take it off anyway. We'll just have to see how it holds up from the oil.
Happy New Year
