Default Non-Intercooled Magna Charger?

I'm looking at an ad on craigslist for a non-intercooled Radix for 4.8, 5.3, 6.0's. I didn't know they made such a kit, so I'm assuming it's an older version. What is the consensus on these old units? Can they be setup for a conventional intercooler setup?
Here is part of the description and some pics of the kit:
"The installation instructions from magnuson included the tensioner puller, the longer belt, the throttle bracket, the actual supercharger, hoses, and injectors.extra parts are included that were included when i bought it. pulleys and nuts and bolts. Also included is a superchip computer program for a 00 chevy p/u with 5.3 . This is the non intercooled version."

He's selling it for $1600, I'd appreciate any input on it. BTW this would be going on a 5.3, or possibly 6.0, in my thirdgen Trans Am.

That is the M90 if i recall correctly....skip it. It is too small and not intercooled. I moved this thread to the Forced Induction section for more exposure for you.

They are old and really can't support your engine, you can find a used, newer, intercooled version for a little more than $2500. I just sold a newer, used one for $3000.

I would have to look hard for the instructions, its possible that we have some....but doubtful.

Trade it in on a Radix

Yes go the intercooled route, you will be much happier.

just let any of the sponsors on the right know that you have an old side mount and we will work with them on the trade.
