NNBS Whipple Install

Couldn't get better than a high 13.2 at 101 mph with a flared 3-4 shift . The tune needs some more work.
I think at 6 PSI, and some more things going my way along with stock wheels a 13.0 is within reach, but I don't see 12's happening without going to 8 PSI with this heavy truck. The RCSB trucks would be killer though with this setup I think.

Imressive to me would be low to mid 12s with these mods, and it could be capable, but not until tranny and tuning is sorted out.I say this based on the old SSS with a cam headers, small converter and old school radix guys running mid 12s.
Somewhere on this board is a post of a NBS denali truck had magnacharger company install what guess was a 1900 and nothing else and ran something like a mid 13.The guy expected more.
You guys can tell me where in wrong cuz I could be.Although these trucks are heavy they now have more cubes killer OE heads and then tossed on top a much bigger huffer.
Again thanks for posting your pursuit to HP

Yeah I had a 13.289 at 102 letting out of it slightly due to some detonation. The next run was faster and I stayed in it but sounding like a little detonation and then the 3-4 shift had a flare in it and I ended up at I believe 13.277 at 101.
I logged the runs and will have it sent over to my tuner to get sorted out. It has never detonated on the street but for some reason did on the track. I think I can hold 3rd gear with the 22" wheels and maybe see a 12 if we get the tune looked at and fixed.
I'll post up the time slips later today and will try to get some more times around thanksgiving. Already ordered everything to go up to 8PSI but won't change anything until we get it sorted at 6 PSI first. The scale at the track was off too so I still need to get some weight numbers to help the comparisons.

I'll have to look at the logs to see as I am letting it shift on it's own and I don't know where the shifts were set. I won't make it back this weekend though. Raining now and I leave on business again tomorrow.
