Default Nissan frontier builds

Hey guys I just joined, I am looking for some input from other people, i currently have a 2011 nissan frontier sl crew cab. I want to go forced induction and have seen that stillen used to make a supercharger kit for the vq40. I have been trying to find somthing that will work for my current engine which is stock, I have an mbrp 3inch cat back. I have seen centrifugal kits for the 350 and 370z which run almost the exact same motor mine just has a longer stroke. I am trying to see if it is possible to use one of these.I have also reached out to eaton to see if there is a roots that would bolt up to my truck and I know there is a company out of south Africa that modifys pathfinders and frontiers with vortech superchargers so I am planning on looking into the same one they use as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My other option if I could not supercharge would be to swap the 4.0 v6 for the 5.6 from the nissan titan which there are parts avaliboe that can make this happen.

To be honest most of the guys on here have GM trucks so I'm not sure how much help we will be for brand specific questions. However please whichever route you decide to go make a build thread and document your progress!

I recall some factory or dealer blower options for the V6 Nissan trucks. I remember test-driving a new Xterra with such a thing but can't remember what year that was. Have you investigated that option?

Those were the older frontiers and xterra’s, like 02-04 I think. One of my neighbors had one back in California

Are the newer heads too different of a design to use the older blowers? Only Nissan I have much experiexpe with is the 5.6.

completely different motors. The 4.0 is a whole new animal compared to the archaic and underpowered 3.0/3.3
