NGK BR7 for high boost?

Usually I take your guy's advice, but this is one time I had to see for myself, since it was only the cost of a set of plugs. 13/16" hex fits in the AFRs, but I'm sure they're not supposed to because the plug socket had to be ground to clear. Also, gasketed plugs work. A very common plug in dirt bikes is a B8ES. Old, slow guys like me know about B7ES. It was no big deal to find them in resistor (R), and projected tip (P). Other than the bigger hex and gasket, these are exactly what TR7s would be if they made them. A set of 8 BPR7ES would have been less than $20, but of course I had to get BPR7IX, I'm embarrassed to say what they cost, you know anyway.
(Skip ahead to this part)The new plugs run and idle smooth, around town responsive-ness is better than my low mile TR6s probably because of all the oil my motor ingested earlier. So far, no negatives, I needed plugs anyway, and the million dollar answer: no, they didn't help the detonation.

19 pounds of boost on 9.5-1 in the boosted vette on TR6's without plug problems......head gaskets yet, but not plugs.
I run the bpr7es's in the tahoe with teh 200 shot but they like to load up now that I haven't sprayed it in 2 years....also 9.5 to 1
