Hey guys was in at the dyno yesterday getting a tune done on my 99 ecsb. I put a 6.0 Lq9 in my truck with a gt2-3 cam and put my mp112 on it. It made 342rwhp and 366rwtq on 5-6 psi,watever the stock pulley is. I was hoping for more but Im perty happy. What is the next upgrade that I should be lookin in to. I would like 425-450 on the ground in the end.

 

stock trans? A smaller puller and meth kit would work, or a small shot of Nitrous

I took out my tranny last summer and so I got it built up. So would I be better off goin with a pulley change or a meth setup?

 

Seems a little low to me for a cammed 6.0 with a maggie. Im guess you're up a little bit in elevation?

I would pulley down and retune. Should be close to your goal if you can get 8-10psi.

 

Ya we are about 3100ft elevation but it was a cool day. Still I was hopin for a bit more. Weres the best place to get pulleys? Spose I should go for a 3.0 inch if I want 8 psi?

I got it done up in Red Deer at Lightspeed. Im very happy there,does a very good job.

 

Cool, I'm just in the tuning stage of a 5.3 turbo '01 RCSB, I would like to put it on the dyno when it's done. Let me know when you're in town I'd like to see your setup.

 

Ya man I'll do that. Ya if I were you I'd bring it in to Lightspeed to get tuned. Talk to Cam he's the owner/head tuner. He's gonna hit 17000 hours on the dyno this fall. He knows his stuff.
