Default new screw on the block

for a GTO anyway

"As many of you have been aware, we have been testing and evaluating our new GTO-specific twin-screw supercharger kit. The system is a 140ci (2300cc) Lysholm-rotor-based product which we have had in development for some time. The kit is very similar in concept to our LS112, except twin-screw instead of Roots.
We have not even come close to pushing the limits yet, however our standard (except valve springs & exhaust) LS2 is pushing >400rwkw & >700Nm. Intake temperatures as the charge enters the heads are remaining <50C.
The kit will have all hardware including an 8PK balancer & belt kit, intercooler, injectors etc, but will not include an upgraded fuel pump sub-kit at this stage (we are still developing that). It will be available for all model/year GTO variants.
It will retail in Aussie for ~$12500, which is about US$8500."

Cool ! Nice clean installation, looks better than the stock manifold. What company is it that is offering this kit? $8500 is kind of pricey though.

I'm guessing it's Starr Performance in Australia. They quoted me around $10K for a 3.3L for my truck.

Cool

That GTO looks like it is right hand drive. Suppose that would cause any installation problems?

Nice looking kit for sure.

Don't engines turn the other way south of the equator? Or is that just tornados?

Very cool. Like the way the jack shaft runs underneath the S/C...

So if I flush my toilet in the northern hemisphere and it goes clockwise. Then if I flush a toilet in the southern hemisphere it will go counterclockwise. What happens if I flush a toilet right at the equator.

The Star supercharger has been available for a bit now. Most people don't get past the price tag.

You get a dirty **** because all the crap in the toilet comes up due to low atmospheric pressure at the equator (ITCZ). The real quesiton is what happens in an El Nino year or when a double ITCZ forms? Might be safer to just take a dump outdoors lol.

Ok, so back on subject. I like how the nose was designed at a bend so you reduce and sharp intake tract bends.
