Default New Project TT 5.3 S10

Im puttin the truck on the back burner for a while..Going to pick up an s10 hopefully today and the plans are running a stock 5.3 with an ls6 cam and puttin 2 small turbos on it..as i know nothing about turbos. What size turbos should i use? im tryin to keep it as cheep as possible just tryin to follow parishes path to 9s..the truck is a late 90s model s10 thats gotta pretty good body on it, im gonna strip it all down and make it as light as possible..

I would go with one turbo!
You will find out why when you start pricing 2 of everything like:
Wastegates
Oiling supplies
silicone
etc.etc.etc.

I would get something like a 76mm.

the only reason why i want twins is i dont want to deal with makin a cross over pipe..plus twins would look killer..but im still kickin around on how im gonna go about on the turbos..how much boost is jim runnin on the fairmont?..its gonna be strictly race gas..maybe some funny gas off the line to get them spoolin

Jim's running 15psi on a MP T-70 turbo with a .96 A/R exhaust housing. That turbo is about $550-600 brand new. Same turbo I have, only a .68 A/R exhaust housing. I gave $350 used for mine

FWIW, a stripped S10 won't need 2 turbos to hit 9s. Especially if you're trting to do it cheap.
