I have a 06 ecsb 5.3 l33.... and plan on doing the STS ream mount kit... just wondering how the l33 handles boost? any pros/cons would be very appreciated

Welcome. I am sure the first page here will involve ppl telling you a rearmount is a bad idea and should go front mount. But my rearmount got my rcsb 2wd 5.3l with a ls6 cam into the 11's turning a 4l80e trany.

rear mounts arent bad. but if your going to do it....just go front mount and be done with it. just my opinion. youll be happier in the end.

the only thing i dont exactly like about a rear mount system is that i am scared of water damage? mud damage? gravel?

the L33 is a little high on the CR for most Turbo applications at 9.9:1 but responds very well to modified Roots style blowers

i just read through all kinds of topics i found about sts.. and in all of them you constantly pick blower over turbo? any particular reason?

I love the Maggie on my L33. Put it on @ 5k and now have 50+k and boost it some everyday. Trans got beefed @ 44k. See sig for specs and dyno sheet.
