no offence guys, but I WILL NOT trade my 5.7 for a 5.3 or even a 6.0. Stock the torque curve is so much better, and my 5.7 will not only eat 5.3's, it has the torque to outpull a 6.0 in 4hi. Now, if you spend lots more money, you can make 5.3's and 6.0's faster, but i just like the torque curve i have now, no waiting until 4000 to make peak torque like in the 5.3.

A simular layout would be possible. The flanges might be different but all in all should be fine.

Husk- I agree....my 5.7 in my 96 out performs my 5.3 still...well maybe even now with 7 psi of boost. But I think I will be going up to 10 lbs soon.

Tuning is the problem with the older motors.

so where does it pump the oil back to? as in the oil fill like sts or just into the pan like normal turbo?

Im sure you can have the option of putting it back in the pan if you wanted to, but in the valve cover would probably be the easiest way
