New build, looking for suggestions 6.0 S480 AWD 01 SIERRA C3
#1
Im starting a new build here on my 01 Sierra C3. IT's setup just like the Denali trucks 6.0/AWD Denali front end
So far I have a Borg Warner S480 T6 with the race cover, twin 44mm Tial wastegates, and a 50mm Blow off valve.
I was going to go with a trick or Kb manifold but decided to just make my own. Going with a 3" log manifold out of schedule 10 stainless and 1/2" flanges
My only concern right now is the down pipe/turbo is gonna be right on top of the ac line. What have you guys done to get around this? Im sure going with a t4 would be much easier since the downpipe is so much smaller.
Lets hear your thoughts. Im gonna use 2.5" stainless from the drivers side manifold to the passenger manifold.

You dont really need new lines, you can bend yours out of the way. I have pretty much the same thing you are going to build except mine is a regular cab. Either the Trick mabifold or KB Racing manifold will work for you if you want to purchase one. That T6 that Trick makes looks very nice and already is setup for the wastegate.
You do want at least 1 inch of clearance between your AC line and the wrap on the pipe

Trick's t6 isnt available until end of december and If i spend a fair amount of money on a manifold i want it tig welded so thats why i decided to build my own. I ordered a bunch of stuff from Ace Stainless. i figure on 8-10 psi it should be a fun daily driver
