They cant knock it til they try it, the wife has a 6 speed m/t xterra with the same 4.0, that thing is a blast to drive, not to mention i can actually get it dirty too, unlike mine

Yeah, so far so good, without really pushing it to much tonight I brake stalled it up to 2250rpms and put several load cycles on the rings in 3rd gear

thanks bro! but don't be scurred so far all I've found for the VQ40 is the Stillen/Magnuson unit. Some talk of STS......

 

all that power going to one wheel :-(. I was looking heavily at them and found out that no one makes a locker for them. The nismo comes from the factory with one, but it only locks in 4wd low. I hate one tire fire almost as much as front wheel drive.
