Nelson Perfomance Front Mount Installed
#21
It was actually easier then I thought. I was skeptical about being able to get all the plugs from the top. But it was very good though, Didn't have to use a swivel or anything out of the ordinary when I changed the plugs the other day.
I should have worn a long sleeve though, my arms touched the wrap and motherfuck made me itch for like a day and a half lol
But yeah this thing sounds AWESOME and pulls sooo ****** hard up top. I am glad the wastegate is plumbed back into the exhaust, I didnt have that on my STS and it was way too loud. The front mount does sound way better then the rear mount, although I do miss the constant whistle under normal driving like the STS gave me lol, but Ill think this is a better substitute.

If you want performance and a kit that out performs, well this kit is hard to beat.
Sounds like you're just stirring the pot again.
IMO, I like the way the kit looks. It's further away from the engine and not cluttered, the smooth transitions and the clearance!
Don't worry about the price if you're not going to buy one!
So why are you replying to this post? Are you interested in the kit, how ducky's truck is performing, or just being...
btw, the kit isn't priced based on looks, it's based on the amount of labor and quality parts we use.
thanks for your input though,
allen

I actually really like the looks of the kit. Much less cluttered looking.
The use of the stock manifolds and keeping the exhausts separate up to the turbo is a huge plus to me. I think that's a superior setup to the log kits.

If you're worried about looks, go with the other kits, if that's your thing!

That kit looks like a cluster **** as far as clutter is considered.
If he has an opinion this is an open forum.
Also does the pricing mean its a kit under 1000 dollars

I think the whole setup looks sick!!! Would love to see some dyno graphs to see how the power comes on. Just curious as to kit price?
As far as the looks go... Does it help that the hot pipes are wrapped not really, but it serves a function and Im sure is MUCH cheaper then having all the hot parts coated. If you want it pretty but some ceramic coated shorties and get the hot parts coated.

I have no AC period. Havent had it in like 4 years. Allen has this same kit on his avelanche with AC. Also his kit won't come apart with more than 10lbs of boost, and is most likely offer more options than Trick for less.

wtf, don't you guys read the posts, I just said his truck doesn't have a/c, however the kit does retain the a/c system.
So, to make it clear, NO, you don't have to remove any of the a/c components.
I don't know what you're asking in your last sentence, but no, it's not under 1,000 bucks lol.
