Default Need some help. what do you think it is?

hey guys so today my truck started smoking. btw its a 4.8 turbo. it does it only on one condition. when you boost then let off or it shifts it gives a big plume of white smoke. it doesnt smoke on idle it doesnt smoke when u rev it up. it doesnt smoke when driving normal. only when you boost then let off even in boost i dont see smoke. i was looking around and i found that the egr line came off the hard line by the fire wall and the large pcv line from the intake manni to the head came off i put them back on and still the same problem. what do you guys think head gasket? i dont see any water in oil and no constant smoke. bad turbo? lmk what ur thinking!

Ok but how's the engine vented?
UTo stay it's pretty much stock doesn't say how the engine is vented.
You said pcv, hose. Does it have a check valve?
Is the breather on the passenger valve cover?
Catch can that's not a big deal at this point.
Who's kit?

all of the venting is stock, return fuel system style engine. i think the vent is on the drivers side. the kit is an on3... im not super familiar with everything. my first ls project. im originally an import guy im still learning the platform. i bought the truck and turboed it just to start to learn.

I would check all the vacuum lines and where they go.
Check valves installed or not.
Stock set up and boost don't work together on turbo kits.

Might get with the kits mfg and see what they recommend.
