Im looking at buying a powedyne kit for my 05 silverado . The kit for sale says 99-03, but what would i need besides a tune to make this kit work for my 05. He will throw in 40lb injectors and a 10 psi pulley. I figure it will work but didnt know because i think their fuel systems are different.

Invest in spare internal drive belts maybe....

Was there a change from return-style to returnless fuel systems between those model years?

Powerdyne is a poor quality blower. I wouldnt by one of those again. Im happy with my whipple and alot of people on this site love there radix. That the way to go if you are going to do anything at all. The belts on the powerdyne are always breaking and the bearings suck. Spend the extra money a get something that is worth putting on your truck. You will not be happy with the powerdyne at all. Do some searches about powerdyne. They suck.

Your truck is returnless as the 99-03 have returns.

I was very pleased with my powerdyne kit. It didnt cost much and it put down some pretty good power. The belt did break on me once, but i had 20+ thousand miles on it and it was way easy to rebuild. My Procharger kit way better!!! but all in all the powerdyne kit was a great starter kit.

Buy one that is made for your truck. You wouldn't want a used one

Radix system will have you grinning from ear to ear. Had a vortec system on my 2002 silverado and it would not even compare to the Radix. In fact I'm still trying to sell it.
