Default Need a little info

Hey all! I know the information I need is in these forums somewhere, but I don't want to say well he has it on his will it work with mine. I need a little information on my new Silverado that is stock, and when I say stock I mean I haven't even changed the oil for the first time. I'm looking for big HP gains but still keeping it reliable. I'm looking at STS Turbos, but I don't know how the stock internals the 5.3L is to power on either a Supercharger or Turbo. I lived in the Ford world for many years so i'm new to the Chevys. I would appreciate the help. Thanks

STS and Magnacharger are both sponsors of this site. Within limits your 5.3 will be fine!

if your looking for a set-it-and-forget-it type of system with great reliability i'd suggest magnacharger for sure. they make great power and the kits are very complete. turbos require more attention but also make HUGE smooth power when set-up correctly. the choice is yours young grasshopper
