ANy chance you'd share your SPARK Map ?
.
Working on tune for my TVS1900 now, a few extra data points would be helpful.

A buddy is working on the tune now so I'll have to grab it from him and get back to you.

He noticed a miss so far, wondering if it's bad spark plugs/wires or if it's injector/fuel pump related. With 9lb of boost and the rest stock do you think the 42lb injectors are enough? Fuel pump is brand new (OE repl Delphi) but spark plugs have a good amount of miles on them

No way a stock OEM fuel pump is going to flow enough to handle boost in my eyes, they just can't flow enough.

42lb injectors are likely border line too, they might not flow enough fuel to support the power you are making. Without a data log it's too hard to guess if you have enough fuel injector and if the pump is just being maxxed out.

I'd be watching fuel pressure like a hawk with that stock fuel pump.

Stock 03 pump is too small period, the 44lb inj are gonna struggle at 9psi if they can even keep up. With a stock cam and reasonable shift points they may be ok but the pump isn't.

Also drop the plug heat range, run a NGK BR6EF. It's one heat range cooler then stock.

9psi, stock plugs and not enough fuel is a bad combo. Be careful till you get it ironed out.

Had to put a hold on the tune for now. It's leaning out too much around 4k rpm. We're confident the fuel pump needs an upgrade but since the injectors are borderline I'm planning to upgrade both. Couple questions...

What fuel pump do you guys recommend? Racetronix 255 was recommended by my tuner but we don't think they make it for 03s.

What injectors? Planning to go with 60lb....Siemens deka?

Also, he noticed the fuel pressure is dropping to 0 about a minute after the key is turned on and pump finishes priming....anyone have experience with this?

Thanks again for all the help!

I'd go deatschwerks injectors before deka's, mainly for quality and injector information.

Walbro 250 or a aeromotive stealth 340 are options. Maybe go with the 340 just to know you have enough fuel. Nothing will be a drop in unit, these are just pumps you make fit in the stock basket and wire in.

So the Magnuson kit did come with 2 fuel pumps, an in tank gss340 (04-06 models) and an inline pump that's specific to 03s like mine. I'm still not getting enough fuel with the in line so I'm wondering if I can install an upgraded in tank Walbro kit and be done with it? Or will that not achieve the same results with the inline pump being there too?

Here's the Walbro setup that Racetronix recommended for my 03...

And they pulley them for 5.5-6.5 psi, not 9

Your stock, in tank pump may well be inadequate, but with the inline BOOSTer pump furnished with Magnuson kit, you should have PLENTY of volume.
It may not be ideal, or aesthetically apealing, but it is a quick install, and effective way to get plenty of volume, and maintain pressure through a return style system.

Mine maintains a solid 62PSI fuel pressure under boost conditions, returns to about 48 PSI at idle speed.
