Default Need info on FMU and the blow off valve PLEASE

Guys I am in the middle of doing this procharger install.
?1 I do not need to run the FMU or the lines for it if I am uping my fuel pump and injectors correct??? Just want to be 100% on this.
?2 The blow off with this kit is made to blow off back into the intake side.. Can I use this blow off to vent into the air?? or do I need one that is for that specifically.
?3 Also where is the best place to mount the boost line to get the best reading??

I am trying to do the install as clean as possible, am not up to specs on FI on new stuff, as this will be my first FI NBS vehicle...
ANY HELP IS GREAT BIG HELP AT THIS POINT..

Thanks John

As long as you are tunning, bigger injectors, and bigger pump, the fmu and lines do not need to be run.

You can use the bypass as a blow off like you said, it will just vent to the atmosphere instead of back into the intake pipe

My boost line is off the manifold. If you look on the passenger side, there is a nipple new the back/top where you will have to pop off the plastic, then you will connect the boost gauge line to it. Do a quick search and you should be able to come up with a picture for this

I am running mine the same way it sounds like you want to and have no problems.

When its closed, air shouldn't go through it, it should go to the engine. When you let off the throttle and it opens, then the air should come through. And I would assume any bypass valve would work fine as a replacement, but don't know 100%

A kid i knew back in colorado had his D1 kits vented to atmosphere, he made him home made used a choke of a holly carb then it was just open with vacuum, also your going to really like it open to atmosphere, sounds bad *** when you let off, and if you route it right it will blow dirt underneath for a nice hollywood affect ill see if i can get a hold of him to see how he built it!

I bought the new style procharger bypass. What do have the little grey one?You need a bypass valve not a BOV.
