Glad to see you're back, Chris!! I knew you wouldn't stay away! lol
I said the same thing in one of his threads- He needs a built tranny, and not just a shift kit and bigger cooler. His transmission is not meant to handle that much power. It's going to go boom real soon, which sucks. Then he'll be down waiting to have it built, the right way...

The water cooled option will not benefit you much at all. Besides it only runs coolant through it when it is running. Also I would save the money and not get a BB unit myself. That is more ricer hype then anything. I have never even dyno'd a nice v8 setup, street or race with the bb option. If you want more really good info on that call Jose at FI. He knows more about turbos then any of us can imagine.

Very true, they can be easy to over spin up there!
FI is forcedinductions.com, they deal with every turbo under the moon. They are familiar with all types of platforms and sell turbos all around the world.

I don't know if it was the BB or the W/Cooling but one or both of them cured my problem. 14~15psi @7000' on a 6.0L is a lot of turbine speed and heat. That would be similar turbin speed to running 20psi at sealevel but I only get the power of 10psi Lol. Kyle runs a Master T76 with a small exhaust wheel that seems to spool up fast, and survive at altitude. I think Master has a water cooled housing avaliable.

the T-70 says it's capable of
650-800 Crank Wheel HP (which should be about 510-650ish after drivetrain loss)
For the serious competitor only, Turbonetics offers custommatched and custom-built turbochargers designed to get you across the finish line first! Designated the T-Series, this turbo family incorporates the latest “state-of-the-art” turbocharger aerodynamics and the toughest durability available to the maximum performance engine builder. With a wide range of flow capacities (HP58, HP61, HP64, HP66, HP70, HP72 and HP76) capable of supporting 550 to 950 HP with a single turbo. All T-Series turbos are custom built to your specific application and include the TURBONETICS Big Shaft components. Dynamic seal is standard, but carbon seal configurations are available (see below). Your choice of STG. 5, P, or S trim turbine: .58, .69, .70, .81 or .96 A/R “ on-center” and a full range of tangential style turbine housings are optional (see page 47). S trim and the patented Turbonetics’ Ceramic Ball-Bearing option are also available.
what trim should i get 5, p, s?? someone mentioned a .81 AR earlier would this work to get me up to 650 rwhp even if i remote mounted this where the bed meets the cab of my truck underneath??
I don't want it too laggy but i also don't wanna choke it off with too small of a A/R cause i eventually want atleast 650rwhp..
