I am looking for a single turbo kit that will be good for towing, make 500hp, and could use advice on how make it more reliable.

Choda has logged some significant miles on his kit.

I’d do the internal dual feed mod on your 80e, 40k trans cooler, CircleD triple disc converter.

Fuel upgrades include fuel pump or BAP, injectors.

madmann26 nailed it. Trick has the best turbo kit. I've put his kit to the test and its taken more miles, weather and abuse than any other turbo kit I've seen on a truck. The truck has changed hands a few times, but last I heard it's still out there rocking.
