Default Need help which Radix

Hi,

I'm planning on buying a radix system since tbyrne has them on sale but I need some help choosing. I'm installing a 05 6.0 liter motor out of a Hummer into my 72 K/5 Blazer 4x4 with a manual transmission and DBW. I've read the install instructions for many of the kits and it seems to me the main difference is the computer program, fuel pump type and location and coolant reservior. I may have missed a few of the others but this seems to be the bulk of them.

So I'm hoping that someone can steer me into the right direction as far as picking a kit that will best fit my install.

I was also wonder if a walbro 255hp inline pump will supply enough fuel for the radix. If not would someone be able to recomend a pump or atleast the specs I would need. I'm hoping to just run one inline pump without having to use a booster.

Will I be able to download the tune or will I need to send my computer into the Magna Charger to have the tune loaded? I haven't made up my mind if I'm going to change the cam to a Lingenfelter GT2-3 but will I need that info before the comp can be programmed? Do you think that you'd have any problems with this set up if I were to towing anything?

My last question I'm sure you hear all of the time but what kind of power could I expect with this set up? I've seen the dyno charts for the 5.3 but haven't seen anything with the 6.0.

I would like to say "Thanks" in advance and will very much appreciate any info that you can give me.

Thanks,

Bill

Sorry I did not respond to the PM you sent the other day.....

I would highly suggest calling Magnuson and speaking with one of the "hot rod" techs in the sales dept. They have some questions that will need to be answered to fit the supercharger to the application.

Blownchevy, I know everybody is busy no big deal. I did call Magnuson and talked with one of their techs but I'm not sure he grasped everything I was trying to accomplish. He told me that if the motor was out of an 05 Hummer then that was the kit I needed. But I'm not sure that is the best for my application after reading the install instructions.

I will give them a call again today and ask for one of the "hot rod" techs.

Thanks
