So for my Project
first decision.........FI, which way to go. 9 months ago when I first started reading this site I really wanted a S/C. But now that I've been reading around, I'm starting to lean towards Turbo because it can make more power & has room to grow with a build. It will be going on a 2011 RCSB 5.3 6L80E, the truck came with 3.42's (I've read that 3.42 are good gears for a Turbo) but I'm not sure if those will stay or get swapped for 3.73 or 4.10. The truck will get driven on weekends & after work just for fun. Mostly around the city streets & a little highway. Although its not gonna be my DD work vehicle, I would like to keep it fairly streetable. I wanna push around 500-550RWHP & I'm not highly concerned with MPG's.
Someone suggested a 67mm or 70mm Turbo to spool quickly on my 5.3, & it would be almost instant boost like a S/C. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After reading the "?Radix vs.Trick vs. STS vs..." thread about 5 or 6 times I believe that a Small(Quick Spooling) Hi Front Mount Turbo would best suit me for this Truck & what I want out of it. My reasons are,
A : I want BIG power & it seems a T/C will get me there easier than a S/C will.
B : Don't wanna be limited to 500HP.
C : Don't wanna lose my AC
D : Don't wanna have to worry about belt slippage.
E : Easier to upgrade for more power.
F : I want it to spool quickly.
G : My Truck is lowered & may go lower so a Low Front Mount is out.
I'm open to any & all suggestions, how would you do it if you were in my shoes?
