I got a chance to pick one of these up at good price, t4 in a .81a/r housing. Looking for anyone who's used this turbo and their power/response. Looking for a 4.5k-6.5k power curve with my 4.8.
I'm making great power now on my MP70 in a .81 a.r, not really aiming for more HP but I know my back pressure is climbing fast at 15psi and with the nitrous I would guess around 45-50psi wouldnt be far off. I plan to get a few runs out of this 4.8, so my thought process is to get that down closer 1 to 1 or 1 to 1.5.
I also will have a transbrake at the line and 3400 stall, that should also aid in stalling up.
Thoughts?

i was running a PT70GTS, just blew up, new build is with a 71mm W/billet wheel. The turbo is vary efficient and would spool fast, almost too fast for my liking, im always in boost in traffic light to light around this area lol

I have that turbo on mine but haven't gotten to play with it too much. Another guy around here has it on his rear mount H2 @16#s and it moves. I think it's a little much for a 4.8 but o well if you got a deal on it

Just for comparison's sake, I run a Precision 76GTS DBB on my Supra and it's full-tilt by around 4500rpm. Screams all the way to 8500rpm. Thus, you should have zero issues hitting your target of 4500-6500rpm with 60% more displacement.
