Ok so i have everything installed for my meth kit last thing is the boost hose, i have a NA motor FYI, i know this is the FI thread but if anybody knows about vacuum hoses and meth kits it would be in this section and all the vacuum hoses are larger then the hose AEM supplied me with "to T into vacuum line" is there any way i can tap this somewheres i dont know what to do

 

Does that hose go to your Controller??


There is a large hose goin from the intake to the Brake booster.. that would prolly be your easiest bet.

 

Yea it does and i know theres a large hose im just wondering how to tap into the large one with this small one that connects to the controller

 

Use a T and start stepping it down to a smaller size

 

Thats what i was thinking i would have to tapper down into smaller sizes didnt wanna go that route but whatever lol

 

Break off the nipple on the port on the passenger side of the head. Its perfect for that size tube

 

Do the newer intakes have that??
i havent looked at a new truck in forever.

 

Are you sure its the same size? I did see that but i didn't wanna break it off and it not fit because then i have air leaking out LOL

 

The nipple is too big for the hose i didnt break it off but i put it next to each other and the nipple is a lil bigger then the outside of the hose lol

 

Im just going to make a T with brass fittings that will break it down to a 1/8
