Default Need help finding Fender protection?

Need some help
Been looking for the plastic film used to protect cars in transport.
Want to use that to protect fenders paint while working in the new projects.
But have not been able to find it.

In the collision repair industry there a plastic film thats used to cover broken windows open/bent doors. Dont know if that will work but it will hold broken glass so it should be good for covering panels. Something like this i guess. Also blue painters tape works as well.

NORTON COLLISION PLASTIC, WEATHER BARRIER, 36" X 100', 3mil: 05920 - Weather Barrier (Collision film)

I've used a product called Transhield before but was a waist of time and $$$$$. Just not a good application to work around. I use the cotton fender covers from Cintas and tape them to the vehicle. I also use moving blankets. Those just aren't good for wet weather though.

Anything that moves on the paint could scratch it.

I am going to use the plastic covering then put a cloth cover over that.

That's what I did & never had a problem. I'll have to dig & look up where I bought it.

Give Transheild a try. I put it on with a heat gun.

Plasti-dip..... Spray about 3 coats on and when you are ready to remove just peel it off. Doesn't hurt the clear and is perfect for protecting. It's also really cheap.
