Default Need HD tensioner tvs2300 silverado

hey guys, just got down installing a tvs2300 on an '06 SS truck.

everything was fine for the day of tuning, customer left, called and said he was stranded, the damn belt tensioner broke.
problem is, magnacharger is closed, anyone got one they can overnight?

even the supplied one will do for now, just need to get this truck on the road.

thanks,
allen

I can put my truck down for a week or so if need be (because of the holidays, and me having a spare truck). If the hd 8-rib tensioner is the same between my 1900 and 2300. But you're going to owe me bud!
Naw, really just to help you guys out and it's a bitch to be stuck out of town on a holiday weekend.

Man That sucks. There was a post on here that a tensioner from a older ford would fit. Not sure about that. It was in a post. I think like 89 or those years. Get your gates book out and look it up by picture.

thanks a lot for the offers guys, i found one local, from napa, but guess what, lmao, got it on, did a few wot tests and it broke, what a surprise. It was a lot beefier than the supplied one.

Anyway, decided to upgrade the injectors, do full gauge treatment and wait on a the HD tensioner.

btw, damn 2300 with 42lb inj, oh well, LQ9 with 2300, 8psi, cammed, headers, out of injector already. Going with some 60+ low imp and driver this time, probably 95lber's.

thanks again for the offer OL'Man!!

Why is it breaking tensioners so fast? I never used the standard one, I just went straight to the HD.

Same here. Joe recommended it when I bought my 1900... when I got the kit I could tell by looking at the tensioner that came with the 1900 kit that it was crap compared to the HD tensioner.
