The 6l80 now has everything sonnax makes plus all the goodies circle d sells for them. The biggest improvement is the powerglide clutch upgrade for 456. I used the TCS shaft over the sonnax bc it has more oiling holes and retains balancer. It also has the raybestos power pack in 1234 and key hole clutches in 35R with new apply pistons and pressure plates.

I'm kidding 🙊. I also like them 6 speeds. I'll have to read thru your thread to learn about modifications myself.
