Yep, i wanted to do the trans first, but couldnt pass the deal. It will all work out.

I ordered my fuel rails today, Got a NNBS water pump too.

My friend Pat ( 03sierraslt) is going to help me find a IAT sensor/pigtail.

So i just need to drill/tap the manifold for the IAT. Find a reference and mount for my MAP. Also fab a bracket for my cable throttle body and a TB adaptor . And that should be about it fot the engine compartment.

Not sure what to do for the fuel system.

Thinking of a Walbro 255 in the tank, i have a return system, so what do you guys think?

IAT sensor/ pigtail is sourced from what?
I'd like to see where on the manifold you're doin this IAT relocation? What size drill & tap is needed?

I've heard IAT relocation gives a more accurate reading. Just wanted to see what's happening here.

Reference & mount for your MAP pics?

You might want to think about this one, before going with the Walbro. I think I might go this way.

Got ya now Tom,

Yes i will take pics. Not sure what year truck or application the newe IAT sensor will be from, but i will have that info hopefully tonight and will share. Will obviously have to wait to see thread size on the new IAT sensor.

I have talked to wkdivr and 03sirraslt about this as i wasnt sure . These guys are guiding me along and "learnin" me along the way!

Its becoming clear now, shouldnt be a big issue getting this huffer installed.

I would think it would work for all 99-07, but maybe IAT's vary. Also, wouldn't it be helpful in either N/A of F/I apps? Just more helpful on F/I.

I used this IAT:http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/g...tail-p-62.html
Used a 3/8 X 18 npt tap. I think the drill size is 9/16.
also when you get the NNBS fuel rails try to get the VMV also, it mount right to the fuel rails. That will make a little easier/cleaner install, instead of trying to adapt the nbs valve. The last pic is for inspiration

Thanks again Jeff! Really like the " inspiration pic!"

I found a set of NNBS fuel rails complete with injectors off of an 08 yukon. Hopefully it has the VMV hookup your talking about ??
