They did not want it to look like the other blowers out there.
just a guess.
That air box on top might help some procharger guys.

His 2010 6.2 should have the same heads as the Camaro already, no need to swap lower manifolds.

That is crazy low. I did 404 whp 400 ft lb with the same SC on my 2011 4.8 CC. Im tuned with HP tuners though as I was a test pig but was in Hawaii so they couldnt tune it.

Since truck is NNBS, there is no battery on driver side, wonder why they didn't just put a filter on it there?
That is where the new camaro kit filter is located.
Or... they could of just taken the L92 lower manifold and just bolted it up to the 5.3 kit.

that airbox is off the older vortech kits for 99-06 trucks, thats what i have on mine.

My understanding is they will be making a new airbox for the driver side.

I will be interested to see this new driver side airbox. I found there is not as much room on that side when I made one for the Kenne Bell. If their design proves to flow and look better than mine, I may see about purchasing just the airbox and retro fitting it to mine.
