Default My cam?

I have seen all the threads about the G2-3 and the G2-7 or even the LS6 cam being great for our trucks with magnachargers. I have asked many people in town and over the phone what they thought and they think my cam will be fine. Just want to see what input you guys had. It is a Comp SI Torque Cam, http://www.speedinc.com/cart.cfm?act...em=SI%2DTorque
Thanks for the input
Ryan

See if that works

It will work, that low of a LSA is not what I would say is favorable but it will work by all means. Actually other then the LSA being low its a good blower cam. Typically you want a 114lsa or higher.

So how exactly would the LSA effect the power it would make? How is a 114 LSA better?
Thanks

It will bleed off boost with 111 lsa, vs a 114

to expand on that a little further, as i understand it,

the lower LSA will make it lope and lope is where both the intake and exhaust valves are open at the same time and therefore when you are adding in boost, while you are forcing the air in from the intake side, its just flowing out the exhaust without making you any power.

Lower LSA moves the power down lower as well, however lower LSA means more overlap and more overlap means= more lope at idle, and more boost bleed off. What engine do you have?

Yes that is correct, sorry for not giving an exp to that.. You will want a cam with a lsa of 114 or higher, for a F/I setup

Is there much more benefit from 114 to a 118? is a 114 still bleeding just a little?
