I would connect to the manifold. You can go to the auto parts store and get a universal vacuum pressure guage kit.

I'd put it into the manifold too....find a vacuum line from the manifold, like the brake booster or PCV and put a T fitting in there, then hook up your boost gauge to that.

The intake manifold. Don't bother with the compressor housing....you'll want a boost/vacuum source for the boost gauge, not just a boost source.

You're talking about the intake piping. I'm talking about the intake manifold. Those are not the same things.

intake manifold is the black plastic thats spread between teh cylinder heads and behind the throttle body, pretty much the top of the motor.

You want to find a vacuum/boost source there for accurate results. My vehicles are all spliced inline off of the brake booster hose, but I have an aftermarket ribbed splice with lil barbed ends for that

There are some plastic nipples on the manifold that are not always used from the factory, you can break the cap off and use one of those, or T off of another vac line.

ok i know what you are talking the intake right so i just break the cap off of one the plasticnipples and connect the boost gauge from their and it will read my boost once i press the gas because in idle its going to be in vac. right
