Default MPG with Supper Charger

Anyone have an 07NBS 4.8L with a supercharger or any idea what the MPG on one with a super charger would be?? Nothing crazy just a supercharger and some tuning.

You'll probably see a little better than stock mpg with a supercharger and a tune......that is, if you can keep your foot out of it

Depending on what kind of SC setup you go with, right?
With the Magnuson Radix system I see an increase in MPG when I drive calmly.

BUT if you motivation is fuel economy you should not be looking into increasing cylinder volume!

I agree that a supercharger can increase the mileage!! I can see 16mpg with my TBSS on the freeway if I take it easy and keep it below 75MPH. This is the current build with 60lb injectors and race gas. The hard part is not to have a heavy right foot (self control). The SSR my partner has with the 427 LS2, 60lb injectors, 10psi of boost and 6 speed has seen as good as 29mpg on the freeway. The TrailBlazers and Trucks usually see about 1.5-3.0MPG increase from a MagnaCharger on a stock installation. Most others platforms come out the same.

I also picked up a few mpg with the supercharger/tune.

of course who knows if just a tune would have helped, and as said before, thats driving like grandpa, towing is the same, heavy foot its worse than before (more power takes more fuel period)

Dont you actualy lose mpg, when cruzing the supercharger is being bypassed by the bypass valve, but the engine still has to turn the supercharger so wouldnt you loose mpg?
