Default motor oil in my S/C intake tube

I took off my air filter to clean it this afternoon, and noticed some oil in the intake tube of my Vortech. I thought it was just dirty water or something, but it's motor oil. I took the rest of the connections apart after the blower and the pipes were clean.
What is going on here?
Mike

Yes I do have a PCV connection there. I think I was supplied with a new pcv valve with the Vortech kit. The mist you see is water. I sprayed all of the salt and dirt from the engine compartment.

If it is only a small amount the oil is probably coming from your pcv then.

run a small catch can inline before the pcv line goes into the intake tube. the oil will go in the catchcan... and not your engine... or even worse your supercharger...

Is there a way to stop the oil coming from the pcv, instead of having to use a catch can?
Thanks Guys,
Mike

If you're running the valve cover style pcv system you can swap to an LS6 valley cover. The pcv systems that draw vacuum from the rear driver's side valve cover are notorious for sucking up oil. The LS6 valley cover has an improved oil separator.

This is a thought but are you using one of those rechargable oil cdharged air filters? If so may the oil is from the filter itself if it was oversprayed during the last cleaning.
