Default More air flow for my set-up

Did this because of the concern of losing flow when the filter sock gets dirty or the filter just needs a cleaning.
Over-kill?? It was cheap insurance, about $75.00 bucks with the fittings, clamps and the K+N filter. The original STS filter is the one in the pics without oil on it yet, just washed it. One 3" inlet (STS kits) and one 4" inlet.
The open end goes to the velocity stack I made attached to the turbo inlet.

Looks Good! I don't think ther is no such thing as over kill when it comes to lowering intake restriction. I'm still running the small STS k&N, lol

Still in peices...hahahaha!!
Not funny really, haven't had time to go finish the **** I started. The first machine shop I worked at out of high school said they would finish the parts or I could just have some machine time there.
I have all the material, just need the time to get it done. After that I will need someone proficient at heli-arc to do all the aluminum welds.
I can't drive the truck till I get my tailights back from being smoked and my mirror caps and door handles from color matching.
So who knows if the SOTP meter will feel, if anything, I doubt it but it should help under less than ideal curunstances.
It's cool having a company car now so the truck can sit till I can actually work on it.
Thanks for the positive comments guys.

I've had a snorkel on for months now, just with the single 3" inlet K+N-STS filter that came in the kit. I figure it this way, even with the filter clean it was only able to suck through a single 3" hole, now it has one 3" and a 4"....sounded better to me.....engineering for the semi-retarded!!!
The snorkel also = no more compressor surge sound, which is a good thing.
