Default Mishimoto R Intercooler.

Just thought I would post any findings good or bad about this guy. right now I am running just an ebay emusa intercooler 27x11x3. my IAT's get hot so I figured I would try my luck at a different cooler, plus I ended up getting sponsored by Mishimoto. the unit will be here today and I should hopefully get it installed by next weekend.

I went for the R line intercooler. it measures 31x12x4 but looks better made, better flow. so we will see how it goes. before I was hitting anywhere from 125-145 IAT's.

Yep, looks like an intercooler.

What is the weight difference between this one and your current one?

You can see through it pretty well. Not much obstruction

Thats good for pressure/restriction issues, but bad for efficency or fixing your iat issues imo. Ive got a garrett core sitting here and you can barely see any light thru it to give you an idea how much surface area it has..

oh I forgot to add that I did have a flashlight on the other end.

If i hold it up to regular light you cant see right through.

i will show both of the intercoolers together when I pull it apart.
