Mild 5.3 Turbo build
#1
Here's my story. Been out of the gas burner world for a little while, got to playing with diesel stuff. I kind of got bored with that and found of a 05 avalanche to drive back and forth to work. Only has 100k on it. My last gas burner was a 05 ecsb z71, lq9, TR cam, performabuilt 4l60, and a. Semi floating 14 bolt rear. I still kick myself for ever getting rid of it. Long story short. I've got some parts laying around bw s366, aftermarket stall(can't remember brand but it's a 2200 I believe just a step over stock), shift kit for the 4l60. I never can leave anything alone. Been debating on just putting a cam in and leave it alone, but I've already done the cam thing before and love turbos so I thought why not. I'll build my own kit. I've searched around on here but seems like everybody is building for power and speed, that's fine. I'm just wanting a fun driver. Will probably never see a WOT run. Just wondering some thoughts on the 366, Paired with the 2200 stall. I didn't figure I would need injectors or a fuel pump for 400 rwhp but no saying I'm right. Seems to be lot of knowledge here. I've just been reading and haven't found what I was looking for.

Cool! Unless you have a flex fuel motor, your going to need at least injectors. The stockers are only 24lbs/hr and a cam only 6L will max them out.
Some 42lbs/hr will make your 400 hp though.
The 366 should be fine, just don't try and spin it a lot of rpm, I'd shift at 5800 with those injectors and that turbo. Should be fun!!
