Default turn down a TVS1900 shaft for 2.70 pulley

Looks like to go 9.5psi on my 6.2l I will need a 2.70" pulley on my 1900. I will need to turn the shaft housing to put the 2.70 pulley on. How do I do it?
will the 2.70 spin the 1900 to fast at 6000rpm.

Do you have an OD crank balancer ?

This will gain you 2-3 psi roughly and is a lot easier and less expensive than what your wanting to do.

FYI if you need custom pullies made I've had innovators west make me some .

the aluminum just needs to be grinded down some on the snout. I could do it with a dremel. A 2.70" will fit on the shaft but the snout is to big.

If I were you I would not touch that with a dremel......you are asking for trouble.

I would suggest a over drive balancer and minimum 8 rib upgrade, the 2.7 will most certainly slip.

Our 2.7 RIP Pulleys fit both of the GM Nose Drive and Jack Shaft Models without modification. I really don't recommend a 2.7 in 6 rib as you are really beyond the limits of the 6 rib system.

There's an 8 rib kit in the classifieds right now. $450 if I remember correctly.
